Welcome to MODERN GERMANY ARISE, a comprehensive one week study that will focus on the governing bodies of Germany during the Third Reich to the modern governing bodies that are directing Germany today.  The desire of this web page is to enable students to recognize how Germany has progressed since the end of World War II within its governmental realm,  where the German government is presently, and where the German government plans to go in its future.  In short, students will witness how Germany has risen from the ashes of World War II to become a new modern Nation based on Democratic principles and ideals. 
   To enhance this understanding, students will expand on their vocabulary as it correlates to German governmental ideology; exhibit mastery of new word usage via daily practices; formulate a comprehensive understanding through cross analysis by way of written research; draw conclusions from their research and openly defend their findings in class discussions.  This website is to be used as a resource only.
