The time is 1929 and Al Capone
has now succeeded in masterminding a multi-million dollar ring of vice, gambling and liquor.  A man holding a post with the United States Department of Justice named Eliot Ness organizes a small, tightly knit group of hand picked agents to bring down Capone.  What seems to be an "impossible mission" becomes the hope of a frightened city as it struggles feebly in a web of bombs and bullets, alcohol and assassination.  Standing firmly behind the Volstead Act, the Act that specified how Prohibition was to be enforced, Ness together with his men bring Capone down.  A night which residents happily refer to as..."The Night Chicago Died."
