THE HOLOCAUST
Pictures From The Multi-Media Production

The Presentation runs 43 minutes and is narrated by an American soldier who aids in the liberation of Auschwitz. The students enter the lecture hall that is completely dark.  At at a specific time during the presentation when the number of victims and where they are from are displayed on the screen, red lights begin to turn on in a clock-wise motion around the lecture hall illuminating the walls.  On the walls, from ceiling to floor, are connected sheets of paper with five rows of 55 numbers on each sheet.  They completely surround the room.  This is a memorial to those lost during the Holocaust and serves as a visual reminder of exactly how many people were killed.  This visual weighs even heavier when on the screen they read that each number surrounding them equals 25 who died!
