Monday, September 3rd-  LABOR DAY (stay home!!)
Tuesday, September 4th- PRODUCTION: They're Coming To America" and Role Play-Immigrants Come To Ellis Island.(2c,10b,21b)
Wednesday, September  5th- Draw US by memory mapping activity.  Hand out Review for Chapter 3
Thursday, September 6th- Review Chapter 3
Friday, September 7th- EXAMINATION #1-CHAPTER 3

Week of September 10-14th

Monday, September 10th- Correct and discuss Examination #1, Chapter 3
Tuesday, September 11th- BEGIN Chapter 4- The Gilded Age.  Section 1- Identify and discuss important people, events and legislature.(2a, 4b,12b,12c,21c,21d)    GOD BLESS AMERICA
Wednesday- September 12th- Class discussion over Section 1.  Quiz over The Gilded Age.  Grade and discuss in class.  Quiz- The Gilded AGE! (2a, 4b,12b,12c,21c,21d)
Thursday- September 13th- Group WORK over section 2, Chapter 4.  Covering new technologies, new construction techniques, growth of cities and new social reforms. (2a,2c,10a,10b,) 
Friday- September 14th- Class discussion over Section 2, Chapter 4.  Begin lecture- Section 3, Chapter 4- Workers and the Industrial Age.  Lecture note sheet. (2b,2c,22c)


WEEK of September 17-21st

Monday, September 17th- Section 4/5, Chapter 4 Hang man- The Farmer and issues related to school reform.(2b,21b)

WEEK of September 24-28th

Monday, September 24th-- Discuss Examination #2- The Gilded Age.  Reteach/discuss
Tuesday, September 25th-- Continue with hall decorations.  Bring 10 pictures that represent your culture, religion etc....  
Wednesday, September 26th-- BEGIN Chapter 5-THE PROGRESSIVE ERA.  Lecture over section
1, Chapter 5- "The American people clamored for reform".  
Thursday, September 27th-- Discussion over lecture.  End of FIRST SIX WEEKS!
Friday- FAIR DAY!!
